Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) University Award: The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), a leading organization for actuaries in property and casualty insurance, has twice selected U of I as a winner of the prestigious University Award, recognizing the program's exemplary work in preparing students for careers in the property and casualty insurance industry. University-Earned Credit (UEC) Program

In addition to our designation as a CAE, we also participate the SOA’s University-Earned Credit (UEC) Program, which allows our students to earn credit for SOA exams by attaining a required score on university coursework—fast-tracking their careers.
